  • Tantra and tantric massage CAN involve sexual activity, however this course does not focus on the sexual nature of the practice. This course is geared toward enhancing intimacy and sensuality, not sexuality.

  • The typical, more popular styles of massage (Swedish, deep tissue, sports, Thai, Shiatsu, etc.) focus more on the physical healing and balancing of the body, while tantric massage focuses more on the balancing of mind, body and spirit. Tantric massage has a more spiritual, energetic, and sensual approach than regular massage.

  • Tantric massage can be practiced by any adult. It is important to note that, much of this practice requires physical, mental and emotional vulnerability. With this in mind, it is best not to practice tantra if you are in a current state of extreme stress, have had a very recent traumatic experience, or have a very poor diet. These things create blockages throughout the physical and energetic body that can make it more difficult for you to experience all that tantric massage has to offer.
